Best Social Media Platforms to Promote your Blog

Saturday, May 12, 2012 65 Comments A+ a-

It has been a week since I created RemakeStyle (fashion blog). Since that, I have been getting very good hits. Thank you so much for the support.

These past few days, I have been focusing on social media platforms, like Twitter, Facebook, Feedburner, Networkedblogs and Bloglovin. It stands true that these platforms will get the news send on everyone’s feed the moment they are posted. So I’ll share with your guys the different media platforms that can help you promote your site. And be sure to follow me to stay updated with my posts. (^_^)

Best Social Media Platforms to Promote your Blog

FACEBOOK

This is still the best social media platform to share your posts. With over 500 million FB active users, you’ll stay connected with your readers.

TWITTER

I would not deny myself that I am a Twitter addict. You would usually see me posting random stuffs, and stories. Well, for me, this is the best way to create conversations with your readers. And since this is a micro-blog, you can post every hours, every minutes, and every seconds (if possible) and no one will care. Follow me on Twitter.

NETWORKEDBLOGS

Networkedblogs is another good way to promote your post. You can sync it with your Facebook and Twitter account so whenever you have a new post, they will automatically display in your feed. Follow me on Networkedblogs

FEEDBURNER

What is better than to make your readers subscribe to your blog’s feeds? Personally, I subscribe to blog’s feeds since I open my e-mail everyday (first thing in the morning). Subscribe to my feeds.

GFC (Google Friend Connect)

This is the most popular media for Blogger users. Follow US on GFC.

BLOGLOVIN

Most blogs in bloglovin are fashion blogs or so I believe. But I encountered some bloggers who really do read blogs through Bloglovin. Follow us on Bloglovin.

bloglovin

Here are other good social media platforms.
I am no pro on these things but then, my statements are just based on my observation.
Do you have any accounts on this social medias?
Do you have any questions regarding this posts?
If you have any questions, just comment on this post. I would be more than willing to answer them.

I have my blogs listed on all of the platforms you mentioned with the exception of tumbler. They are all excellent ways to get your posts in front of  people if you have the followers. I actually do read the posts in my bloglovin stream.

Social media sites are very helpful in promoting your blog. You can also join free blogger events so you can get more fans/likers/followers too.

These are great tools to put your blog out there where people can see it.  Have tried most of it except for Pinterest.  Haven't gotten around to signing up for that one.  StumbleUpon is also another way of getting some more views for your blog

Great tips.I wonder, how many hours do you spend on blogging and promoting your blog ? Health wise, do you sit in front of the computer or do you blog, almost lying down, with pillows behind your back? I have to admit , my legs  and back hurt a little bit when I sit for long hours.

Bloglovin is not really that active and as I know not many bloggers are using it. The same as linky followers/ GFC has already been faced out for non blogger platforms so I've scrapped mine.

Those are sure some of the best social media platforms that can boost your traffic.

Trish Adgitize had already closed.  If you'd join that before it really provide great traffic as well plus the earning opps.  Too bad, the owner has to shut it down because in business term there were not enough revenue.

Feedburner's great, I am so glad I can keep track of how many subscribers I have :)

I mainly use Twitter. I don't have Facebook. I don't know what platforms are "best" to promote your blog - I find that doing it organically by visiting other blogs and maintaining an active online presence in the community is best. I like that you get extra hits by tweeting and sharing on other networks and giving your blog a plug, but nothing beats making friends with others and getting your blog out that way :)

I use all those except Networked blogs. Twitter & Facebook are good only if you interact with other users instead of just posting about your posts. Bloglovin, I opened for the sake of and just in case it brings in views.

Feedburner is definitely a must!

But I find that what brings in longtime views for my site are google images & searches.

Those you mentioned above are all BIG social
Media that has a wide coverage in the WWW. But in my opinion, they maybe best
but NOT all efficient. You may want to join: Blogger eHOW group that provides campaign to boost bloggers PR's http://www.facebook.com/groups/374808269223736/
