LAST JS PROM.

Saturday, March 19, 2011

It’s my last JS Promenade for highschool today. Kinda late, but I should prepare myself right?! Yes, everyone should do the same thing. Before the actual event, I already had my manicure and pedicure with my mom. It’s great. Serves as our bonding too. I chose something noticeable, the red one. I may look like someone wicked, but I think it’s hot and I love it. I’m still wearing it today.

Me and my NAILS

The day of this affair, I already had my hair fixed at 12 noon. Prom will start at 6 pm and I plan to go there at 5. Anyway, my make-up and hair was done at around 4 and I love my look.

I went to my classmate’s house first. We planned to meet everyone there and we’ll all go at the school together. Excellent, I already had my first glance on their dress and look. Cameras. Cheez! We went to school together with everyone. There were lots of people already but no worries, I really felt great that day.

Me and my GOWN

We didn’t have any practice on our entrance at all. Not-so-great right. But I didn’t let it ruin my night. Although we we’re kind of disappointed because we’re scold a bit because we don’t know what should we do, when we were not instructed anything, I still gave my best smile.

So we had the program followed. The cotillion. They introduced those who were part of it, including their dresses, and they danced the cotillion on a modern way. Just think about how those students dance in Highschool Musical. So close to that.

The prophecy for the future. It was kinda long. Not the usual speech. Took almost half of the hour. I felt sorry for the juniors.

Speech of our Directress. I’m not being bad, just sharing my feelings. It kinda ruined my day when she scolded us about how we should just sit down. It’s not just about me, but I know the feeling of those others who were already bored to death after sitting for three hours when we’re supposed to be dancing already.

Dinner time. The dinner was fairly distributed. Yes, so even. Eventhough we’re on a buffet style, so I was hoping I could atleast only eat what I want. But when we’re given two slices of chicken, piece of hamonado and something I do not really it, I was dissatisfied. I tried telling them if instead I could have the other slice of hamonado (my favorite) in exchange for the broccoli something… they refused. I was being selfish with food but I guess it’s because I’m already hungry.

the Monster Brocolli

Search for Mr. and Ms. JS Prom. I don’t know, but at this point, we’re all, I mean, everyone was already bored and upset. To tell you, the whole thing ended at 11 pm. I’m happy that 50 percent of the awards were won by our section, but seriously, this is another matter.

Dance. Screw that stupid program. I’m DISAPPOINTED much. We just have one hour left to dance. I danced some of my classmates, lucky that I managed. But still, everyone was complaining how they were not able to dance some of us.

Most of us were disappointed in this PROM. In our last Prom. But atleast, it did make me felt great. I was kinda hoping next year, they would atleast consider us first before the program. It’s us who should enjoy them, not their visitors.
